\n Debug \n 1.It is five past nine o'clock. \n 2.Demonstrants are increasing in their numbers. \n 3.I did not mean to make you so angry on purpose. \n 4.It is very dark. We can't hardly see the traffic signs. \n 5.The answer is "B", I suppose it. \n Debugged \n 1.It is five past nine. \n 2.Demonstrants are increasing in number. \n 3.I did not mean to make you so angry. \n 4.It is very dark. We can hardly see the traffic signs. \n 5.The answer is "B", I suppose. \n I suppose、I guess、I think、I believe…

\n Debug \n 1.He travels a lot to Japan so he knows about Japanese culture. \n 2.Please let me know of any developments. \n 3.It is certainly important to know of between right and wrong. \n 4.She did not know the man tried to get her attention until he moved into her path. \n 5.I knew what he meant. \n Debugged \n 1.He travels a lot to Japan so he is familiar with Japanese culture. \n 2.Please keep me informed of any developments. \n 3.It is certainly important to distinguish between right and wrong. \n 4.She did not notice the man had tried to get her attention until he moved into her path. \n 5.I realized what he meant.

想要改正這個盲點,請記得準時收看Debug專欄,隨時提醒自己不要說出「We each other know very well.」 \n Debug \n 1. We each other know very well. \n 2. She did not know how to do. \n 3. I am impossible to hide my rage any longer! \n 4. Do you think which student is the best? \n 5. Ms. Chen is not at home, is she? Yes, she isn't. \n Debug Answers \n 1.We know each other very well. \n 2.She did not know what to do. She did not know how to do it. \n 3.It is impossible for me to hide my rage any longer! \n 「某人不可能做什麼」不可以說成someone is impossible to do,而應該以it當虛主詞,變成it is impossible for someone to do,因為impossible通常用來形容事物,而非人。 \n 4.Which student do you think is the best? \n 在英文句子中,which student好像是拿來當作do you think的受詞,但事實上,do you think是插入語。 \n 5.Ms. Chen is not at home, is she? No, she isn't.

1.pick up (v.) \n 例如: \n Where did you pick up your English? \n Where did you pick up the news? \n 作情勢好轉: \n Real estate sales are beginning to pick up. \n 2.weasel out (v.) \n Their boss escaped to weasel out of his responsibility. \n There is a lot of people counting on you, so don't try to weasel out of it.

\n 1.A: Nice to meet you. B: Me too. \n 2.Did you have any difficulty to get the information from her? \n 3.Jane did not like that movie, because she's disinterested in comedies. \n 4.Frank lives in a hotel now in downtown. \n 5.He is optimistic about his country's economical prospects. \n 6.I'll wait for you for supper at six tonight. \n 7.You need to pay fifty-dollar parking fee. \n 8.Today my boss spoke to me very friendly. \n 9.How is your life after work like? \n Debugged \n 1.A: Nice to meet you. B: "You, too" \n You, too"是"It's nice to meet you, too." \n 2.Did you have any difficulty (in) getting the information from her? \n 3.Jane did not like that movie, because she's uninterested in comedies. \n 4.Frank stays in a hotel downtown now. He lives in a downtown hotel. \n 5.He is optimistic about his country's economic prospects. 如:economic theory經濟理論/an economic little car一輛省油的小汽車。 \n 6.I'll expect you for supper at six tonight. I'll wait for you for supper tonight. \n 7.You need to pay a fifty-dollar parking fee. \n 8.Today my boss spoke to me in a very friendly way./Today my boss was very friendly when talking to me. \n 9.What is your life after work like?

When did you have supper? \n 英語中一日三餐前無冠詞,例如: \n (×)I had a lunch at 12 o'clock. \n (○) I had lunch at 12 o'clock. The dinner was given in honor of the guest. \n 4. I shall drop in on you. \n 5. I have been studying English for three days. \n 6. We take an exam. \n 7. The room is clean except for two desks. 例如: \n (×)I come here every day except for Sunday. \n (○) I come here every day except Sunday. I study English besides French. \n 8. “Did you walk far?” “Yes, I walked a long way.”

“Who doesn't love Sandra Bullock,” Martin asked rhetorically, to which Baldwin answered archly, “Well tonight, we may find out.” \nAmerican military men and women are celebrated as heroes on Main Street, but they are overwhelmingly portrayed as killers in the movies that Hollywood produces. And while Hollywood is tremendously liberal, the rest of America is not. \nSandra Bullock is America's star, not Hollywood's. We have responded to her performances over the years because she is inspiring and talented. America loves Bullock's real humility, fun personality and true generosity. Bullock gives generously to crisis' like her $1 million dollar gift to the Tsunami Relief effort in Indonesia, more to Hurricane Katrina relief and recently the Haiti earthquake fund - all without seeking media attention for it. She is funny, beautiful and refreshingly normal. Bullock is not from a Hollywood dynasty or family, she is someone from your family. \nYou can thank me later. It's later. \nDid I really earn this or did I just wear you all down? \n上台領獎時,布拉克的致詞第一句話是: \n“Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?”(我究竟是真得獎了,還是大家都被我累垮了?) “Wear you down”是美國網球名將阿格希 (Andre Agassi) 的絕招。 \n“I had the best time at the Razzie,” she said backstage. “It's the great equalizer. No one lets me get too full of myself.”
