將扛國會外交？江啟臣發雙語聲明：讓世界看見多元民主

第十一屆立法院今(1)日上任，正副院長由國民黨韓國瑜、江啟臣當選。江啟臣晚間在臉書發聲，以中、英文雙語感謝立委同仁及選區鄉親，未來將與韓國瑜一起捍衛國會尊嚴、嚴守議事中立，也提到「也要將我們的多元民主讓世界看見」。

江啟臣今晚在臉書發文，「感謝立委同仁，更感謝鄉親讓我連任，今天才有機會榮任立法院副院長。未來我會和韓國瑜院長，一起捍衛國會尊嚴、嚴守議事中立、確保少數意見，實現多元包容的民主價值，也要將我們的多元民主讓世界看見！我們會一起努力，讓國會更透明、監督更有力。以民為本、為民發聲，不負人民期待。」

值得注意的是，江啟臣也特別用英文發布聲明，向國際友人說明，他與韓國瑜就職立法院正副院長後會一起努力，捍衛國會尊嚴，讓世界看見台灣的多元民主。而前任立法院長游錫堃任內曾多次接見美國、歐洲等國會議員來訪，展現國會外交的重要性。

Thank you to my legislative colleagues and, most importantly, to the citizens who have re-elected me. It is a privilege to serve as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Yuan.

As we look towards the future, I am committed to working alongside Speaker Han. Our purpose is to preserve the integrity of our legislature, ensure the neutrality of our deliberations, and amplify the voices of the minority. We will thereby foster a democracy that is both diverse and inclusive. It is our responsibility to demonstrate the robustness of the ROC’s democratic values to the world.

We pledge to increase the transparency of our legislative processes and strengthen its oversight functions. Our endeavors will always be people-centric. We will represent the voices of our citizens and uphold the trust they have placed in us.
