瑞典环保少女桑柏格24日表示，自己极有可能感染过新冠肺炎，她已经自行隔离2周。
17岁的瑞典环保少女桑柏格（Greta Thunberg）昨（24）日宣布，她与父亲都出现新冠肺炎症状，儘管自己症状轻微，但她也表示自己「极有可能」感染过病毒。
The last two weeks I’ve stayed inside. When I returned from my trip around Central Europe I isolated myself (in a borrowed apartment away from my mother and sister) since the number of cases of COVID-19 (in Germany for instance) were similar to Italy in the beginning. Around ten days ago I started feeling some symptoms, exactly the same time as my father - who traveled with me from Brussels. I was feeling tired, had shivers, a sore throat and coughed. My dad experienced the same symptoms, but much more intense and with a fever. In Sweden you can not test yourself for COVID-19 unless you’re in need of emergent medical treatment. Everyone feeling ill are told to stay at home and isolate themselves. I have therefore not been tested for COVID-19, but it’s extremely likely that I’ve had it, given the combined symptoms and circumstances. Now I’ve basically recovered, but - AND THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE: I almost didn’t feel ill. My last cold was much worse than this! Had it not been for someone else having the virus simultainously I might not even have suspected anything. Then I would just have thought I was feeling unusually tired with a bit of a cough. And this it what makes it so much more dangerous. Many (especially young people) might not notice any symptoms at all, or very mild symptoms. Then they don’t know they have the virus and can pass it on to people in risk groups. We who don’t belong to a risk group have an enormous responsibility, our actions can be the difference between life and death for many others. Please keep that in mind, follow the advice from experts and your local authorities and #StayAtHome to slow the spread of the virus. 《纽约时报》（New York Times）报导，瑞典环保少女桑柏格昨日在个人Instagram帐号上宣布，自己与父亲出现新冠肺炎症状，她自己感觉疲惫、会颤抖，还有喉咙痛以及咳嗽等症状，她的父亲情况更严重，甚至有发烧。
由于瑞典政府仅提供急需医疗照护的患者进行新冠病毒筛检，其余身体不适者必须自行在家隔离，因此桑柏格并没有进行病毒检测，但她说自己「极有可能」罹患过新冠肺炎。
她说自己是在10天前出现症状，刚好就在她从布鲁塞尔返国之后。桑柏格3月初在比利时布鲁塞尔（Brussels）一场会议上为欧盟议员演说，当时她的父亲也随行。她表示，为了保护住在斯德哥尔摩（Stockholm）的母亲及姊姊健康，自己和父亲返国后已经在另一栋公寓自行隔离2周。
不过她也在贴文里说，自己现在基本上已经痊癒，没有感觉到任何不适。
桑柏格也藉机呼吁年轻朋友就算没有症状也要待在家中，以避免将病毒传染给那些比较脆弱的人。她说，许多人（特别是年轻人）可能根本没有症状，或是只有非常轻微的症状，他们不知道自己身上带有病毒，可能因此传染给那些风险较高的人。
她说，我们这些不属于高风险族群的人有庞大的责任，我们的行动将影响许多人的生死。
